The making
Nothing exists until you order it
Your piece begins as raw glass in a Bohemian workshop on the day your order arrives, and passes through the hands of people who have done this work their whole lives.

- Your order
Your piece is created only after your order is placed, beginning in one of Bohemia's crystal workshops.
- The design
Each motif is adapted individually to the shape it decorates, so every detail sits exactly where it belongs.
- The craftsmanship
Hand-engraved, hand-cut, hand-painted, sandblasted or gilded, depending on the collection. The most intricate motifs take up to 48 hours of handwork.
- The timeline
Most pieces take 6–8 weeks to create before they ship. We would rather tell you that now than at checkout.

An American fine-art photographer who came to Prague and saw Bohemian crystal through an outsider’s eyes. Karen founded ARTĚL in 1998, guided by instinct rather than convention. That freedom shaped a bold, graphic visual language that continues to set ARTĚL apart from traditional luxury crystal houses.
